About the Role:
Contributes to the strategic direction and execution of INGREZZA patient marketing initiatives, including messaging, creative development, and ambassador programs. Develops and implements product education and promotional activities to communicate to patients and caregivers. Applies consumer insight and market research to identify, develop and execute patient initiatives that advance the brand and drive patient awareness and action. Represents the brand and drives alignment with cross-functional partners: Advocacy, Corporate Communications, Commercial Operations, etc.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Contributes to the development of patient strategy utilizing customer and marketplace insights to support patient program management
  • Leads development of patient-related activities in support of annual brand planning and budgeting
  • Supports market research initiatives in partnership with Commercial Analytics and external agencies as appropriate
  • Develops and executes promotional tactics to drive increased brand awareness and adoption, supporting the delivery of core messaging and creative campaign for print, digital, video, and other advertising
  • Manages day-to-day activities of core patient marketing agencies and other business partners for projects related to patient education and promotion
  • Coordinates with digital marketing team in development and alignment of non-personal promotion and other digital assets
  • Leads patient ambassador program: recruitment efforts, event coordination, and content development
  • Leads projects through legal, regulatory and medical review process
  • Coordinates with Payor & Access team, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure strategic alignment and message consistency for patient-facing promotional materials
  • Ensure budget aligns with planned annual spend
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in marketing or life sciences and 6+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a patient marketing role for a pharmaceutical, biotech or device company. Direct-to-consumer experience a plus OR
  • Master's degree marketing or life sciences or MBA preferred and 4+ years of experience noted above
  • Ability to work independently and take a lead role on assigned projects
  • Some experience working on large scale DTC campaigns is a plus
  • Highly skilled at building positive working relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and vendors, including creative AoR and Media Agency
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and computer skills
  • Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends relevant process, technical, and/or service improvements
  • Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge
  • Considered an expert within the company and may have an external presence in the area of expertise
  • Applies in-depth expertise in the discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve the efficiency of the team
  • Effectively partners with multiple cross-functional working teams
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring skills, and ability to lead lower levels and/or indirect teams
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $127,500.00-$184,800.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
