Job Description:
The Maintenance Worker A makes minor repairs, executes work orders, performs preventive maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
- Performs minor preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Assists with repairs and projects as assigned.
- Utilizes blueprints and manuals in the performance of maintenance work.
- Interprets written instruction, sketches and plans.
- Maintains assigned mechanical rooms and work areas.
- Evaluates and orders parts or materials as approved.
- Accurately and timely fills out work summary sheet, required documentation, logbook, and equipment log sheets.
QualificationsJob Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school or vocational education preferred.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
