Marasco & Nesselbush, an 80-person, Rhode Island law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing Personal Injury Legal team. This unique individual will play a key role and will set the direction for our team-oriented culture as we strive to exceed our clients expectations by providing extraordinary legal care. The Legal Assistant will work directly with the firm s legal team to accomplish excellence within our growing firm. What you ll be doing:

  • Manage personal injury and medical malpractice legal files from onset of matter through settlement or until transferred to litigation team.
  • Perform new client intakes with attorneys and meet with clients from onset of case throughout lifecycle of matter.
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional client service to all internal and external clients.
  • Adept at building relationships with clients.
  • Electronic and physical records maintenance.

  • Organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, and work both within a team and independently.
  • Experience with personal injury and medical malpractice legal process.
  • Knowledge of property damage claims and liens.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
  • Degree in legal studies or equivalent.
