**Job Id:** 862 **# of Openings:** 1 **Village Caregiver - Part Time** **Wage Compensation: $11.50 and up** **Must be willing to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 within 45 days of hired.** Hours are flexible but must fall between the specific times designated for each shift: Day shift: 7 AM start time to 6 PM end time, 2-3 days per week Mid Shift: 1 PM start time to 8:30 PM end time, 2-3 days per week Caregivers should expect to work weekends and, possibly, some holidays. The Village Care Program will provide Homemaking, Errand and Companion services at both Westminster Village and in client homes within the greater Lafayette community. Tasks may include: housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, grocery shopping, laundry service, entertainment activities, running errands, and computer help. This position is a part time position. The successful candidate must have some flexibility in available work hours. Up to thirty hours per week. **Qualifications:**
* Desire to work with the senior population
* Positive, cheerful attitude mixed with an abundance of patience and goodwill experience in home health care or long term care
* Flexibility
* Appreciation for pets such as dogs and cats
* Valid Indiana Driver's License with proof of insurance
* Clean criminal background
* Ability to clearly communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing
* Familiarity with computer devices and social media such as Facebook and Skype
