Interior Designer

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a furniture manufacturer and distributor seeking an office interior designer in Lombard, IL. Their ideal candidate is understanding to client needs and preferences by developing design concepts that align with their vision.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, objectives, and budget
• Create design concepts and present them to clients for approval
• Develop detailed plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting fixtures, and accessories
• Collaborate with vendors, project management team and other designers to ensure design plans are implemented accurately
• Oversee the installation of design elements and provide guidance to contractors as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in interior design techniques

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dealer designer
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and team members
