We're hiring an Account Manager for the LubeCon USA team to grow sales of premium LubeCon products, equipment, and services in existing and new accounts. This is a home-based position that travels throughout their territory and the ideal candidate is located somewhere near Sacramento or the Bay Area. The territory covers California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, & Arizona. The person will need to have strong territory management and selling skills. They also need to have mechanical skills and experience is a premium.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunt for new business opportunities by bringing on new accounts
  • Develop existing business to improve profitable growth opportunities
  • Install and service LubeCon lubrication equipment at customer locations
  • Provide detailed service reports to our most valued customers
  • Pricing accountability for designated customers in the portfolio
  • Meet personal travel and expense expectations
  • Service equipment and teach plant staff how to maintain it
  • Sell and promote all products and services in the portfolio
  • Develop relationships and show value with key functional contacts in customer s organizations
  • Maintain a quality selling pipeline and updated information in our Sales CRM
  • Occasional weekend work is required for certain customers. Comp time allows you to shift time off
  • Exhibit safety leadership and compliance
  • Support Finance for credit and cash collection
  • Overnight travel is required 50% a month


What you'll need to be successful in this position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional sales; preferred in a B2B territory management environment
  • Willingness and ability to do mechanical service work with light equipment
  • Not necessary for a college degree but beneficial or relevant industry experience attributable to 7+ years of experience
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
  • Knowledge, or prowess to learn, electrical and mechanical systems is necessary
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to optimally coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across numerous customer markets to meet established and changing deadlines
  • Computer expertise with MS Office suite and CRM
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions


Comments: successful candidates will have a strong record of Sales and Account Management, with a proven record of growing new business while maintaining existing customers. This is a stimulating, hands-on, essential position in our company. Candidates will need to show an ability to learn, assemble, and maintain conveyor chain maintenance equipment (it isn t super hard and we will provide training). LubeCon sells lubricant, cleaning, and monitoring equipment for these businesses. Account Managers have the autonomy to grow their business and manage their day-to-day activities.
