Assist and Support Senior Trust Officers in the daily performance of duties and servicing of client relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients (e.g. account owners, trust beneficiaries and portfolio managers) on a daily basis. Responds to their requests and works with them to resolve issues and meet their needs
- Prepare and process cash contributions and distributions upon receipt of appropriate documentation
- Facilitate stock transfers for gifting
- Filing, copying, scanning and faxing
- Utilize the UNITY platform for administrative services, account maintenance, and the creation of administrative reports
- Process IRA and ERISA distributions.
- Work with Senior Trust Officer to monitor cash positions in accounts on a daily basis and resolve any overdrafts
- Maintaining administrative account files electronically through CRM
- Organization of documents and correspondence
- Complete special projects as requested
- Support the Senior Trust Officers in all other aspects of trust administration
- Other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
- 1-2 years of experience in client services
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain legal documents
- General knowledge of investment products
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
- Proficiency and experience using MS Word, Excel
- UNITY and FIS Accounting system experience preferred, but not required
