**Member Care Team Member**

The purpose of the Member Care Team Member is to provide member care, cross-cultural coaching, mentoring, self leadership and discipleship to staff, students, volunteers and interns, in a manner that nurtures and challenges the whole person and helps to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of staff, students, volunteers and interns. This ministry role is full-time and support-raising is required. The Member Care Team Member has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis. The role is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

**Required Qualifications**

* Must personally embrace GFMs purpose, vision, values and statement of faith and identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

* Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others

* Must display advanced interpersonal and communication skills (Gmail, Slack, etc.)

* Must function well both independently and in a team environment

**Key Responsibilities**

* Must personally embrace GFMs purpose, vision, values and statement of faith and identify as a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

* Counsel and support the spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of the base staff and students

* Help support or administer the planning of certain GFM special events including staff lunches, graduations, etc.

* Provide member care coaching for 5 months for MTS students

* Coach assigned students every week

* Engage in departmental team meetings to sustain and develop the body of GFM

* Develop and implement, or align programs and initiatives with GFMs strategic direction to develop long term, healthy disciple makers.
