Job Details
The Staff Accountant role is integral to the continued success and mission, which is to provide timely and accurate financial reporting to the senior management team. The Staff Accountant will comply with and support the accounting department s workflows, procedures and best practices while working closely with the operations and finance teams to provide timely and accurate financial statements. You need to be a team player, passionate about our industry, and disciplined to do what it takes to get the job done. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintains the general ledger
- Reconcile bank account(s)
- Perform account analysis
- Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assists with the month end close process
- May assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
- Completes quarterly local and state tax filings
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Bachelor s degree preferred
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Power Point, and willingness to learn new technologies
