Security Manager Position Description
-Oversee supervision of security staff.
-Prepare shift schedules of full and part time officers.
-Review and approve officer timesheets.
-Review and verify daily activity logs and incident reports.
-Conduct performance reviews and staff evaluations.
-Manage first aid training and emergency response program.
-Develop and implement security policies.
-Provide input regarding budget preparation.
-Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
-Maintain contact with property management ensuring all building security issues are addressed.
Security Manager Qualifications Summary
-Bachelor's Degree and CPP preferred.
-Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement, military or private security required.
-Prior supervisory experience required.
-Experience with various security hardware preferred.
-Experience with video surveillance and access control systems required.
-First Aid Instructor certification preferred.
