POSITION SUMMARY

As a Commercial Property Manager, you will play a central role in the strategic and operational management of our commercial real estate portfolio. This dynamic position involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of commercial properties, ensuring optimal financial performance, maintaining positive tenant relationships, and implementing effective property management strategies.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Property Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations of commercial properties, including maintenance, security, and tenant services.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of property issues.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.

Tenant Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Foster positive tenant relationships through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with leasing teams to attract and retain high-quality tenants.

Lease Administration:

  • Manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with leasing professionals.
  • Conduct lease analysis, including financial terms and obligations.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage property budgets, working closely with the finance team.
  • Monitor rent collections, financial performance, and expenses to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to developing and implementing property management strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for property improvements, cost savings, and revenue enhancement.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure properties comply with relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Coordinate legal matters, including lease violations and disputes, with legal professionals.

Risk Management:

  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with property management, including safety and security concerns.
  • Implement emergency response plans and ensure properties meet safety standards.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including leasing, finance, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 Years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Substantial professional experience in commercial property management
  • IREM Certified is a plus
  • BOMA Certified is a plus
