POSITION SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the production of company products, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures and capabilities of machines and equipment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Confer with management personnel to establish safety, production, and quality control standards.
Develop budget and cost controls.
Obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered.
Plan and direct production activities.
Establish production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
Lead continuous improvements
Lead and mentor supervisory staff
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other job related duties as necessary to fulfill responsibilities of position.

Timely and accurately performed work. Development of a positive working relationship with supervisor, co-workers, other employees and outside contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor s degree in operations management, business, engineering or related field required. Minimum five years experience at the manager level preferred, supervisory experience required. Understanding of lean manufacturing. Fenestration industry experience is a plus. Must have knowledge of production methods, quality control methods, capabilities of machines and equipment. Must have excellent leadership skills. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, training methods and profit and loss fundamentals required.
