Litigation Associate/Attorney


Full-Time (Hybrid Available)

Salary commensurate with experience but is expected to be $110,000+ with annual bonus.

$10,000 Signing Bonus to be paid at end of 30 ($2,500), 60 ($2,500), and 90 ($5,000) days.

Our primary areas of practice include probate, estate planning, and guardianship and conservatorship. We are searching for a litigation associate to add to our growing team who will work with our team of litigation attorneys/paralegals to obtain successful outcomes for our clients.


About You


You have an Arizona bar license and experience in Title 14 litigation (estate planning, probate/trusts, and guardianship/conservatorship) or are willing to learn Title 14 litigation.

You are searching for an opportunity for trial work and look forward to working with a group of litigation attorneys/paralegals to win, every time, for our clients.

You take initiative and like to figure things out yourself but won t hesitate to ask for help if you need it.

You are, or are willing to become, familiar with the ins and outs of basic Wills/Trusts and can explain them to clients.

You have excellent attention to detail and superb verbal and written communication skills.

You understand how important it is to keep your clients updated on their case, and you keep them updated on their case.

You like to use the latest in legal technology.

You have the ability to calm a client s fears and concerns.

You have experience handling emergency legal situations and you can think on your feet to seek a quick resolution to a client s legal emergency.

You have experience getting short notice on litigation deadlines and can reprioritize your task list accordingly.


Your duties will include but are not limited to:


Drafting, reviewing, and responding to motions/pleadings.

Appearing at initial and contested hearings.

Conducting discovery/disclosure/depositions as necessary to set our cases up for success.

Communicating with clients.

Taking a case and working it from start to finish.

Experience & Qualifications


Licensed to practice in Arizona (required).

Title 14 litigation experience (desired).

o You ve challenged and/or defended an estate plan to trial/evidentiary hearing (whether successfully or not);

o You ve alleged and/or defended a client in an adult exploitation case (whether successfully or not);

o You ve litigated an ARS 14-3709 case to trial/evidentiary hearing;

o You ve removed and/or defended the removal of a personal representative, trustee, and/or guardian/conservator;

o You feel completely comfortable with any type of probate litigation.

Experience in estate planning (desired).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (required).

Tech savvy (desired).
