Title: Civil Engineer / Site Design Engineer
Location: Itasca, Sugar Grove, or Rockford
Duration: Permanent Hire
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of civil engineering plans
- Planning and design of roadway and related projects
- Planning and design of underground utility and stormwater projects
- Planning and design of site development related projects
- Assist the project manager and engineer with the preparation of plans
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- EIT a plus
- Experience working with Illinois DOT's or local agencies preferred
- 5 years plus of experience in the preparation of plans, plan and profiles, cross-sections and infrastructure improvements
- 2 - 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D or MicroStation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's license
