Job Title: IT Desktop Support Technician
Pay: $30-35 per hour
Duration: 3-month contract role
Location: Irvine, CA
Overview:
Our client in real estate seeks an IT Desktop Support Technician. You'll troubleshoot hardware/software issues, primarily in Windows environments, offering both in-office and field support across locations like Irvine, Orange, Anaheim and, possible Inland Empire.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide desktop support, resolving technical issues for end users.
2. Administer Windows Active Directory, handling domain membership and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
3. Respond to user-reported issues in a helpdesk support environment.
4. Ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.
5. Troubleshoot network connectivity, including TCP/IP, LAN, VPN, etc.
6. Offer on-site support in various locations.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in desktop support and troubleshooting.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.
3. Familiarity with Windows Active Directory and GPOs.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills.
5. Basic networking knowledge.
6. Clear communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Note: This contract role may extend based on performance. It involves in-office and field support across multiple locations.
