Construction Site Manager - Solar

My client is a leader in the development, acquisition & operation of both renewables and energy storage and is on the lookout for a Construction Site Manager to join their team in California.

This opening presents a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is on the lookout for a role with longevity, stability and clear career progression, as this individual will not only have a 3 year + project to walk onto, but also a substantial project pipeline thereafter.

Key job functions include-

Assisting with the project execution plans alongside supporting the formation of work scope definition

of work activities
RFI submittals and responses, and discussing any impacts they may have on wither the cost of schedule of the project
the PM, this role with require assistance with reviewing the contractors change order requests, again ensuring there is an understanding of the impact such may have on the cost and schedule of the project
of any risks within both engineering and construction, and in turn ensure the development of mitigation plans
of the field staff, where constant communication will be expected to ensure everyone involved has an understanding of the current state of the project
management of project schedule, along with reporting the projects progress
full time presence at the project location

Who they are looking for-

years experience within large utility scale solar construction, ideally within some form of leadership position
of project permitting processes and entitlements
managing multiple sub contractors at any one time
to be able to work on a 3 weeks on 1 week off schedule
construction experience is a plus
engaging with the stakeholder and reporting back to them
