We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Field Supervisor to join our team and oversee the execution of landscape construction projects with precision and efficiency.
Position Overview:
The Construction Field Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of landscape construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all on-site activities, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to on-site construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to verify compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and client expectations, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays or obstacles, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries or concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the final results.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and safety hazards on-site, implementing preventive measures and safety protocols to protect personnel, property, and the environment.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Mentor and train construction team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in performance.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in landscape construction management, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build positive working relationships.
- Sound understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license.
