Project Manager Civil Construction
Kinney Construction, LLC (KCS Civil) is seeking a Project Manager for Civil Construction. This position will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Flagstaff, Arizona.This individual will be responsible for the management and execution of all phases for civil construction projects.
Position Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as Project Manager to expertly manage all project phases for civil construction projects.
- Calculating and managing crew production rates.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and approving material and equipment needs.
- Developing, tracking, and controlling the project schedule and associated costs to achieve project completion on schedule and within budget guidelines.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors through effective communication and problem solving.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Identify potential risks and challenges and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on-site.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Civil engineering or Construction Management.
- 7+ years of recent experience serving as Project Manager with a heavy Civil Contracting firm or a commercial General Contracting firm.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills required to expertly bid, plan, and manage projects.
- Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), including Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Design-Build and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
- Solid proficiency in construction software use - experience with Primavera, Procore and
Viewpoint V6 Construction Software is a plus.
