As a Sales Representative at C.Worth, Inc, your primary responsibility is to generate sales by acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for selling commercial food service equipment and supplies as well as acting as a consultative partner to businesses or individual customers in an assigned territory- his/her role requires a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets and objectives.


Core Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  2. Conduct thorough research on potential customers and industries to understand their needs, challenges, and purchasing patterns.
  3. Schedule and conduct meetings with potential customers to present a solution to their challenges and advise on product offerings.
  4. Develop and deliver consultative bid presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospects, highlighting the value and benefits of the products/services.
  5. Collaborate with the internal team, including general manager, sales manager, office and warehouse staff to provide accurate information, pricing, and collaborative support ton new and existing customers and vendor partners.
  6. Seek and bid attractive and lucrative projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through all stages of project.
  7. Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  8. Continuously update and maintain customer database and sales records using C.Worth's internal software systems.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
  10. Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand network and self-educate on new engineering & design trends.
  11. Maintain accurate documentation for commission reporting, always upholding the highest levels of integrity.
  12. Assist management for accounts receivable collections & maintaining up to date, accurate customer information such as address, contact name, phone numbers, DBA, tax status, etc.
  13. All reasonable tasks as assigned pertaining to the roles and responsibilities of the sales representative and business operations


Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in outside sales or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the commercial food service industry.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with customers.
  3. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales targets and objectives.
  5. Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  6. Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
  7. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  8. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  9. Adhere to workplace drug & alcohol policies


Compensation: Commission Based. Industry AVERAGE for FE&S and FE&D sales representatives on commission compensation structures is $52,000.00 - $80,000.00+ (dependent on individual sales effort)
