We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team. You'll take direction from the project manager to help construct and maintain quality kitchen, bathroom, and basement remodels. You are great at reading blueprints and have excellent hand dexterity, with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities
Oversee an entire project's carpentry work. This includes the pre-planning, drafting, ordering of materials, construction, and finishing phases of a project. (Other phases, such as demolition and cleanup, are handled by other crews.
Ensure your work on the job site is organized and tidy so all team members can do their jobs safely and efficiently.
Provide updates to Project Managers on project timelines and as tasks are completed.
Determine the appropriate materials and supplies necessary for each project.
Complete all finish-carpentry tasks with the highest level of detail and quality.
Review blueprints and sketches to understand requirements
Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames
Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture
Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible
Quantify, shape, cut, and smooth carpentry materials
Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of all aspects of carpentry (tools, materials, and techniques).
Ability to implement projects according to exact specifications.
Positive attitude, good team member, and ability to work independently.
Excellent physical condition and dexterity
Successfully completed formal carpentry apprenticeship
Must have valid driver's license
We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
