General Responsibilities:
Cabin Dispatcher/Planner will receive orders via telephone, enters information into computer system or manual orders. May give general information over the phone to clients/customers.

Must also assign worker orders to cabin agents.

Specific Duties/Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Data entry of work orders; (If integration is not applicable)
    • Ensure that every order called is entered into the computer system
    • Ensure all calls are recorded on the daily log
  • Answer phone calls from Special Services Department
  • Assign cabin agent work orders.
  • Responsible for the direct oversight of all main flight employees.
  • Operated the dispatch center and monitored all equipment changes, late flights, gate changes etc.
  • Tracked and documented all flights and aircraft nose numbers.
  • Maintained daily shift schedules and other various reports.
  • Assist in the supervision of personnel to ensure that all company appearance, safety, policy, and security guidelines are adhered to.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Language Skills:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from passengers, groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.


Math Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.


Computer Skills

  • Ability to type and use computer software accordingly


Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Grooming:

Must wear appropriate uniform and badge/ID at all times.

Education:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED

General Company Requirements:
  • Employee must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
  • Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the Employee Handbook. Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred.

Overall:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport badge.
