What s the job?


As a Project Manager within Exterior Product Sales (EPS), this position has responsibility for managing and supporting projects in Sales Operations, Inside Sales, Contractor Engagement and Channel Management. These projects help enable the business strategy for the Group and deliver the Group s Policy Deployment Objective and Must Win Battles, spanning multiple lines of business and functional groups, requiring significant human and financial capital to execute and have a material impact on the Group s financial results.


Project Execution and Governance (70%)


  • Tracks deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process.
  • Holds owners accountable for their commitments and conducts project team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues.
  • Manages the overall process of carrying out the project, adapts plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals
  • Creates structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market and budget constraints.
  • Partners with colleagues in different roles to assess the workloads and impacts for different departments, identifies dependencies and possible issues across teams.
  • Develops and communicates clear and actionable deliverables, or activities to be completed including timelines and RACI.
  • Proactively reviews decisions made by the team; consults with individual and cross-functional teams
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, execute plans to achieve objectives while assessing and mitigating risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of the project
  • Maintains excellent communication with Functional Team Members and Direct Management to ensure early identification of issues and a timely reporting of status. Proactively notify the appropriate management teams when project builds are in jeopardy of not completing on-time and proposes corrective actions


Process Improvement (15%)


  • Partners with Corporate Strategy to develop, maintain and drive usage of Process Mapping, project management and modeling
  • Understands the basic processes and standards of different departments across the organization in order to identify workable process standards and best practices for how teams should approach projects. Implements, documents, facilitates the standardization of best practices and communicates the new procedures to the rest of the organization.

Communications and Documentation (15%)


  • Maintains permanent contact with operational directors and stays abreast of business challenges related to processes in his/her area
  • Creates a project dashboard, which outlines both the projects currently underway and those on the backlog, with their priority according to the overall business objectives. Makes this information readily accessible within the organization for the project teams and senior leaders to be able to quickly see where attention and resources are currently being placed and adjust their workflows accordingly.

  • Bachelor s Degree - Project Management, Engineering - Required
  • Masters Degree - Business, Project Management, Engineering Preferred
  • 7+ years Project Management - Required
  • 10 + years Business Management or related field -
  • Project Management Certification - Preferred
