Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
* Manage staff and senior accountants and oversee the daily operations of Inventory Control within the accounting department.
* Direct, train, and oversee the technical and career development of staff to ensure operational excellence is continually met.
* Implement, monitor and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
* Coordinate cross-functionally with other departments on business objectives.
* Supervise the analysis and resolution of daily stock variances, including reviewing and preparing monthly reports.
* Lead the effort to resolve transaction errors daily.
* Coordinate periodic cycle and annual physical counts.
* Review prepared month-end reports used by the Inventory Control team for reconciliation and analysis.
* Participate in cycle count audits and physical inventories at locations throughout the network.
* Review the creation of items for completeness and accuracy.
* Assist in hiring and ensure alignment with accounting talent strategies.
* Prepare and review documentation to assist internal and external auditors.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
