**Job Description**

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first-level support of RELL computer, server, and network systems in partnership with our ERP service partner, Corterra Business Systems. The IT Support Specialist will be customer-facing, dealing directly with all RELL users (globally) on a broad mix of vertically stacked, advanced IT information systems.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Delivers personalized IT infrastructure support for all RELL locations (from Corporate) using remote capabilities and leading-edge automation tools.

* Manages and prioritizes daily IT Requests.

* Identifies, troubleshoots, researches, supports and resolves user IT issues and requests.

* Escalates IT issues to appropriate Richardson IT personnel, as required.

* Provides support for latest versions of Microsoft products, including Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

* Manages corporate user security (Active Directory, Users, Resource, Contact records and Distribution Lists).

* Will serve as RELLs lead in configuring, deploying and training of RELL PCs, printers and mobile phones.

* Maintains RELL PCs, printers and mobile devices.

* Manages corporate mobility program.

* Manages LaFox based Help Desk support schedule (IT requests and phone coverage).

* Manages corporate asset listing of all IT capitalized hardware and equipment.

* Provides first-level support of world-wide locations network and server environments.

* Assists in system application up-time and network performance / utilization reporting.

* Exercises judgment within generally defined RELL IT practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

* Manages LaFox building / room access system.

* Provides best effort support for all other non-Microsoft applications.

Technical Skills Required:

* Minimum of one to three years of Microsoft technical support experience and superior customer service and communication skills.

* Associates degree or IT-related certification preferred but not necessary.

* Extensive knowledge and proven experience of supporting Microsoft Windows workstation and server and Office suite to the latest versions.

* Experience supporting laptops, all-in-ones and wireless devices.

* A+, Network+, Server+ CompTIA certifications or the willingness to obtain.

Personal Skills Required:

* Must have excellent customer service and customer liaison skills focused on putting the user first.

* Must have the ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and directed fashion.

* Must have exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve IT project issues and challenges.

* Must have the ability to comprehend and communicate clearly and effectively on a wide range of technical issues with people at all levels.

* Must be accustomed to working on various issues simultaneously and ensuring the integrity of each project engaged in.

* Must have exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills.

* Requires excellent written, documentation and verbal communication skills
