Full Time Kitchen and Bath Designer- Cabinet Discounters Annapolis, MD We are looking to grow our team in our Annapolis, MD showroom location. The ideal candidate will have experience in the kitchen and bath field in a design/sales capacity. This role requires creating and maintaining relationships, design development, project management, and communication and coordination with team members. These skill sets are combined to create an engaging and dynamic career as a kitchen and bath designer. This is a unique position that allows a person with design, sales, and mechanical abilities to see their projects through from concept to completion. Job Requirements: ? Engaging with and qualifying clients ? Educating clients on various product offerings and services ? Estimating material and labor costs to determine the most appropriate course of action for a project ? Developing plans and pricing proposals based on individual client needs ? Performing site visits ? Guiding client from the initial consultation phase through finalizing and signing a contract in a timely manner ? Accurately ordering materials and checking order acknowledgments ? Communicating with client and various internal departments through the lifecycle of the project ? Availability to provide showroom coverage on Saturday Skills: ? 3-5+ years experience working in the kitchen and bath industry, design, or sales, (preferred but not required) ? Enjoys working independently and as part of a team ? Understanding of residential construction ? Self starter with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Attentive to detail ? Exceptional organizational and time management skills ? Ability to represent self and company in a professional, knowledgeable manner ? Proven ability to take initiative, ownership and be accountable ? Excellent listening skills ?
