Generous vacation leave, sick leave, and eleven (11) paid holidays plus 32 hours floating holidays annually.NATURE OF POSITION:Perform skilled technical work in the maintenance, repair, operation and inspection of traffic markings, signs, signals, illumination and control systems and equipment. Maintain and repair overhead and underground communications systems; install and maintain conduits, wiring, concrete foundations for signal/light poles and signal cabinet pedestals. Train and provide direction to assigned staff. Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure compliance and operation within federal, state, and city standards.REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, or GED equivalent and two years journey-level experience in the installation, maintenance and calibration of electronic control or measuring devices and electronics. Possess current State Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and tanker endorsements.Must have the following certifications within 18 months:
