Day to Day:
One of Insight Global's home security system clients is looking for a licensed Field Service Technician to come join their team in Oahu. This individual will need an associated electrical license to operate in Hawaii. The main responsibilities will be to provide expert-level installation and services of cutting-edge smart home technology. They will also get the opportunity to maximize earnings by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue. The ideal candidate is someone licensed, who has been working in a similar industry, is self-reliable and has a great go-getter personality.
Responsibilities:
- Installations of smart home systems for new and some existing customers
- Provide in-home consultations, professional installations, and support
- Complete 2-4 smart home installations at client homes per day
- Conduct safety analysis of every home to assure a safe workplace for the technician and the customers
- Leverage service and installation appointments to generate leads and upsell opportunities
- Travel within provided territory about 1hour in distance
- Lift and carry up to 45 lbs & climb ladders up to 14 feet
- Work in attics and other limited-space areas
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods
Must Haves:
- EJS Certification
- Exceptional customer service skills or Sales experience
- Experience with -cable installation, internet Installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, solar technician
- Clean driving record and valid license
Plusses:
- Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as independently
- Prior sales experience
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
