Our client, a leading medical publishing company is hiring a Health Editor Spanish Content on a contract basis. Please only local candidates to Atlanta GA. MUST be fluent in Spanish.

Pay: $40/hour W2
Required Skills:
Experienced, bilingual Health Editor (fluent in Spanish and English) to support development of consumer health content and lead development of Spanish consumer health content
This editor will participate in a deadline-driven, cross-functional content development process that aims to deliver a variety of content types that inform and engage patient and consumer audiences about specific health conditions and topics
Assignments will range from content collections to premium multimedia experiences
This editor is responsible for ensuring content accuracy, quality, and clarity, managing freelance writers, and communicating with project managers, editorial, medical review and design stakeholders while prioritizing aggressive deadlines
This editor will also play a leading role in scaling original and translated Spanish content offerings
Ability to translate complex medical information into plain language (in both English and Spanish) is an essential skill required for this position
Managing development, quality control, and timely delivery of core and funded content assignments in both English and Spanish
Facilitating editorial workflows using custom CMS and project management tools
Managing and editing assignments delegated to freelance writers
Collaborating with editorial, publishing, and medical review stakeholders to develop, publish, and optimize content efficiently and effectively
Serve as topline editor for Spanish content quality assurance, and lead development of Spanish content operations and style guide
Ability to translate complex medical information into plain language (in both English and Spanish) is an essential skill required for this position
3-5 years experience creating digital health and medical content for Spanish- and English-speaking consumer audiences
Bachelor s degree in journalism, communications, or a related discipline
