**Corporate Retail Security Manager - Brilliant Earth**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Retail Security Manager, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Brilliant Earth physical assets, employees, and customers. The Corporate Retail Security Manager will oversee, manage, supervise, and coordinate the day-to-day security operations of existing showroom and operations locations and will play a vital role in our new showroom expansion. This leader will work closely with other managers and showroom staff to coordinate security efforts, initiatives, and standards across the company. The Corporate Retail Security Manager is responsible for physical security of inventory and facilities, policy development and compliance, as well as the implementation and incorporation of industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with team members and other leaders across the organization to achieve strategic goals related to security and manage daily security tasks.
**What Youll Do:**
* Physical Security
+ Respond to and facilitate necessary action for day-to-day security issues and alerts from security vendors, central monitoring and staff.
+ Own security for new showroom launches including:
- Procurement and installation of all security components including intrusion, access control, cameras, safes, and other security elements.
- Coordinating with the construction team, general contractors, and third-party vendors to meeting installation timelines and addressing questions as the subject matter expert.
- Developing location specific security policies and training staff on security and safety operations.
+ Coordinate with Office Management and IT to ensure staff security access is up to date and documented, conducting regular audits ensuring appropriate employee access.
+ Work with Showroom teams on recurring physical security audits, addressing deficiencies and opportunities.
+ Oversee implementation of physical security plans and procedures for existing and new showroom locations, including upgrades and changes to intrusion, access control, cameras, and product storage.
+ Manage and optimize the security budget, in line with business goals and objectives.
* Policy Development & Enforcement
+ Continuously improve policies and procedures, update documentation and maintain security resource center for company.
+ Provide regular security communication and updates to onsite staff to ensure security is top-of-mind for all.
+ Review all security training, updating, and working with our Training Team to roll out appropriate and timely training.
+ Investigate, address and document security violations, working in conjunction with HR and other company leaders.
+ Evaluate and update appropriate incident response plans.
+ Ensure compliance with industry best practices and insurance guidelines related to physical product, employee, and customer security.
Youre a Great Candidate if You Have:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, preferred
* 7+ years corporate security management experience
* Experience with high value physical product
* Multi-location experience, retail preferred
* Robust computer and technical skills, including understanding of integrated security systems and technologies
* Demonstrated experience building, implementing, and improving upon security strategies, policies, and procedures
* Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
* Strategic thinking, continuous improvement mindset
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* Highly organized with a focus on problem solving, execution and process improvement
