Job Details
As one of the Senior Fabricators in Dynapower's Sheet Metal department, you are responsible for all aspects of sheet metal fabrication and the manufacturing of enclosures and panels for our product lines from raw materials. You're great at both MIG and TIG welding, and know how to read and use engineering prints. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, $20-30 per hour start rates, a $2000 signing bonus, and all benefits starting on Day 1!
On an average day, you'll
- Weld frames from tube and angle stock, cut and bend flat steel, and punch and drill according to drawings.
- Weld standard A-36 and stainless.
- Build prototypes for special projects.
- Operate a large and small press brake and water jet cutter.
- Square and weld frames, c-posts, internal brackets and hang doors.
- Operate the shear, notcher, angle cutter, and saw.
- Tig and Mig weld.
- Put safety first, all day every day.
What You Need To Apply- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Welding and sheet metal experience
- Familiarity with water jet cutter preferred
- D1.1 Structural Carbon Steel - MIG
- D1.6 Structural Stainless Steel - MIG
- D9.1 Non-structural Sheet Metal - MIG
- B2.1 Standard for Welding Procedure and Performance Qualification - TIG

Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We have flexible hours so you can start anytime between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. - an 8-hour shift plus 30 min. lunchbreak will have you finish your day between 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. This position works in a manufacturing production environment. This role routinely uses standard personal protective equipment such as required Safety Glasses and Safety shoes, as well as head and hearing protection and gloves, as required.

- Requires good manual dexterity and coordination, and stamina. Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
