Seeking a dynamic multi-site Director of Manufacturing Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all manufacturing operations including the safety, production efficiencies, quality, customer service, and financial performance of multiple plants.
- Directs plant leadership and team members in attaining plant production and quality targets.
- Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals are met.
- Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to meet business demands.
- Drives site leadership to continually evolve an engaged and accountable employee culture.
Also, creates and communicates a clear vision for the future to drive the business to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives (such as Safety, Productivity, Inventory levels, etc). Develops strategies for growth, by setting achievable targets and monitoring performance against targets for each functional area. Responsible for production improvements and efficiency of operations, demonstrating an ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- Engineering and Continuous Improvement background
- Food and/or Beverage Production Experience required.
- Transformation leadership style that demonstrates emotional intelligence
- Demonstrated success as a change agent & developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs
- Demonstrated success hiring, assessing, developing and retaining top talent
- Ability to handle and manage conflict and provide mediation of issues
- Proven experience in driving process improvements, adhering to budgets, and maintaining regulatory compliance
- Understanding of USDA/FDA regulations, as well as HACCP, GMP s, SOP s, and Hazard Analysis
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing environment.
