1. Responsible for selling solutions to help individuals overcome health issues /challenges and achieve their highest level of health. Solutions include enrolling individuals into memberships and programs including the 90 Day Healthy Care program, personal training and Works small group training academy. Member advisors will also sell memberships, schedule fitness consultations and assist existing members with all membership related issues.

o Use a needs based selling approach to define the best and most appropriate solution for the individual.

o Function as a coach to help the client develop a plan for creating solutions to overcome problems.

o Register/enroll the candidate into the appropriate program using club software. Obtain insurance information if required, complete and review all required paperwork for accuracy.

o Follow-up with and continue to educate the client about other programs and services that may be beneficial throughout the lifecycle of the client. Function as a case manager to help transition the client from one program into another.

o Serve as an integral part of an outreach team to support The Works wellness programs.

o Prospect and schedule appointments from email and phone inquiries, guest pass leads and member referrals.

o Sell memberships, Works wellness programs and personal and small group training.

o Review all paperwork on new memberships for accuracy and completeness.

2. Assist with onboarding and retention strategies as noted in departmental P & P.

o Participate in internal and external special events that may produce new members and enrollment in membership and Works medical wellness programs.

o Represent The Works in corporate wellness and benefit fairs.

o Represent The Works in a professional manner at community events.

3. Other Duties

o Keep and present assigned sales and lead tracking reports to the manager in a timely fashion.

o Attend sales meetings.

o Participate in sales training and professional development sessions.

**Qualifications**

**Experience Minimum Required**

Minimum of one year inside or outside direct sales experience.

**Experience Preferred/Desired**

2 years sales/consultation experience working in a fitness, wellness or corporate health environment

**Education Minimum Required**

High School diploma

**Education Preferred/Desired**

Bachelor degree in a related field

Training Preferred/Desired

Health Club software experience, working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

**Special Skills Minimum Required**

Outgoing, ability to coach effectively, sales motivated, computer literate, effective time management, effective communicator, flexible to change, team player.

**Special Skills Preferred/Desired**

Health Coach Certification and or motivational interview training
