Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated and independent worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As a Package Handler you would unload freight from fleet vehicles, accurately sort freight, and load freight in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery. Hours and Wages: Available shift options: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-9:00AM Monday-Friday, 5:00PM-8:00PM Starting wage: $16.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Unloads each package by hand from fleet vehicles Scans package barcode labels as unloaded for tracking purposes Sorts each package by zip code, city, or state Stacks freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently Washes fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed Performs light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment Performs other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications: At least 16 years of age Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse that can weigh up to 100 lbs.
