What you ll do!We are seeking an Upstream Process Specialist to provide pre- and post-sales support for the full Single Use Technology portfolio. You ll serve as the clinical/technical expert to develop relationships with departmental and technical decision makers and partner with Account Executives to gain access to C-Suite decision makers.Achieve orders and sales target for Single Use Technology portfolio in your assigned territoryForecast orders and sales within applicable sales funnel, tools, and reportsCollaborate with Account Managers and other Sales Specialists to initiate development of new business opportunitiesIdentify, design, and execute strategy for each key customerAssist Account Managers throughout the sales process by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, installations, and product trainingsSupport customer projects with application knowledge and product information, answering product inquiries and giving end-to-end solution presentationsConduct product demonstrations and seminars at trade shows and professional conferencesUse market and product knowledge to assist sales teams in developing sales, marketing and customer account strategiesTrack and communicate industry trends, and competitive actions in order to provide expertise and advice to drive innovative product developmentWho you are!Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.4 plus years of experience developing, specifying, or supporting manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical industry, bioprocess sales, field applications or technical support of bioprocessing consumables, hardware and software.Deep understanding of the Biopharma/Biotech industry and Bioreactor, Mixing and single-use fluid managementKnowledge of cGMP, validation and regulated environments for bioprocessing.Excellent communicator who can present complex material in simple terms.Problem-solver with the ability to resolve and communicate issues, and propose solutions.Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities at once.Willing to travel throughout specified geographic region and globally to participate in trainings, meetings and key projects.When you join us, you ll also be joining Danaher s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
