As a Sr. Video Specialist, you will work directly with both Holding companies and client direct. The VSS will need to support vertical sales efforts and drive budgets through agency teams around strategy and buying groups. As part of an account team you will drive adoption of Amazons Video offering with advertisers and ensure the customers video investments fit into their overall marketing strategy with Amazon. You are naturally curious, and will apply your creativity and curiosity by taking a lead in strategizing video solutions for our advertisers, diving deep within the advertising community to discuss Amazons benefits, and working internally to innovate solutions that meet the objectives of our advertising customers. As an individual contributor, youll be joining an elite sales organization and will benefit from having direct access multiple leadership teams. Candidates should have experience buying, planning, packaging, and selling video both directly and programmatically. Candidates will have a strong knowledge of the STV landscape, experience negotiating and closing upfronts, and the ability to drive conversations with C-Suite client contacts.


Key job responsibilities


Video Specialists are aligned to the Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization and work closely with Account Teams, Agency Development Managers (ADMs), Go to Market (GTM) specialists, and Amazon Advertising Customers. They are responsible for:


Scaling video GTM strategies across your account teams internally


Drive adoption of Amazons video advertising offerings externally, by articulating the value proposition across all video, entertainment, sports and gaming.


Work closely with agencies and client direct to negotiate and close video deals


Understand full funnel media strategies and how to activate across Amazon


Deliver innovation to help position Prime Video as the #1 Streaming Service and long term growth opportunity.


Understand 3rd Party and 1st party measurement for streaming transactions


Ideate with Brand partnership Team to develop branded integration opportunities and unique sponsorships for your accounts.


Partnering with LCS and Vertical Marketing to develop narratives that differentiate Amazon Ads unique offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes; and

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of B2B sales experience


- 10+ years digital advertising experience


- 4+ years of advanced TV/STV advertising experience


- Experience selling various video formats (MS, SS, Sponsorships, Sports)


- Effectively works cross-functionally (AE, Sales Leadership, Yield, Product, Measurement)

Preferred Qualifications

- Deep relationships within the advertising industry


- Experience negotiating Video Upfronts at agency and Brand level


- STV/TV measurement proficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
