at KnowBe4 Clearwater, Florida The Event Planner will be responsible for the planning and execution lead behind all of our online and offline events for our prospects . The ideal candidates primary focus includes the support of planning, logistics, and execution of an annual event marketing plan that ensures the Company is hosting events that actively engage with security professionals, and that those attendees convert into high quality leads for the business. * Work with the Marketing Events Manager to organize the logistics for all prospective events, including but not limited to: timelines, venues, vendors, hotels, staffing, budget proposals, pre-event logistics/operational details, on-site event management and reconciliation

* Work with international teams to support global events as needed

* Help to identify and secure staff, speakers, special guests, and/or entertainment for each event

* Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to present possible marketing event

* Ensure the Marketing department has detailed information and goals for each event

* Provide technical and administrative support to the Marketing team, attendees and guests

* Collaborate with Marketing team to promote events pre and post event

* Assist the Marketing Events Manager and Marketing team in meeting Company objectives for lead generation from conferences, events, and trade shows

* Process the leads from events quickly to help ensure the success of each event

* Organize and maintain an annual calendar and website page of confirmed marketing events

* Order promotional items and maintain inventory

**Requirements:**

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

* Experience in event planning

* Experience with Gmail and Google Docs

* Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)

* Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)

* Excellent time management and organization skills

* Excellent customer support skills

* Working knowledge of other service-oriented roles, including space management, audio/visual, dcor and entertainment, signage, housing, and speaker management

* Excellent communicator with high attention to detail
