Genesis Systems, Inc., Huber & Associates CPAs, and Related Entities are a group of companies that provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services, and other diverse activities. Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 35 years and continues to expand its operations.
This position is for an experienced Software Developer/Engineer who will help to identify business requirements, determine specifications, develop, assist, modify, and expand the system through analysis and development. Personnel also analyze business requirements in terms of system and programming requirements and modify the systems design to meet our client s needs. This position is required to work on-site in the Harrisburg, PA office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an alternative degree coupled with relevant experience in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of Full Stack Software Development experience with good knowledge on IT principles, design patterns and enterprise architecture
- Strong Knowledge and Experience should include:
- Web Development: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Services, LINQ, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with libraries including jQuery, EXT.js
- Database: MS SQL Server, NoSQL (Apache CouchDB), Oracle
- Tools: Reporting Development Platform (ActiveReports), Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
- Work alongside the Infrastructure Team to develop/maintain modern system architecture.
- Work independently under limited supervision with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and delivering high-quality software solutions within deadlines
- Have excellent organizational abilities, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management and Supervisory experience is a plus.
