Printer Service Manager

As a Printer Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our service operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of service technicians, driving excellence in customer service, technical expertise, and operational efficiency.

Location: Washington DC Metro Area- Mobile Field Position

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented work environment where technicians feel empowered to contribute and take ownership.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing training to enhance the team's technical skills.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations to maximize service efficiency.
  • Oversee the efficient scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Work closely with sales and customer support to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Address issues promptly and proactively exceed expectations to build customer loyalty.
  • Perform field service calls as needed to maintain hands-on experience.
  • Conduct ride-alongs with field technicians to offer technical assistance and coaching.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in printing technologies to ensure the team's preparedness for diverse equipment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in wide-format equipment or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile position efficiently.
Other Qualifications:
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience as a service technician in a relevant field preferred.
  • Prior experience as a service manager is preferred.
