Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney in Greenville, SC. The Associate will be responsible for managing an independent case load and legal tasks such as drafting, research, and advising clients across litigation and business matters. The ideal candidate will have trial experience but looking to expand their practice into "outside general counsel" matters. Your typical day might be going to court, helping clients prepare for a board meeting, drafting contracts, or researching novel areas of law. Most of our clients are global, so it will help to be curious about things beyond South Carolina.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and litigation
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Relentless attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Admitted to practice in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia
- Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
