Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Ohio. You will lead a team of production supervisors and operators to ensure the efficient and effective production of our products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  2. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
  3. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that production activities adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address non-conformances.
  5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that production equipment is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
  7. Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop production supervisors and operators to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  10. Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between production, engineering, quality, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, with experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve performance goals.
  5. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering results in a manufacturing environment.
  6. Knowledge of quality management systems and safety regulations.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
