Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for manufacturing improvements.
- Evaluate and revise processes in order to generate cost savings and improve safety, equipment reliability, product quality and throughput efficiency.
- Evaluate and improve process flow throughout manufacturing.
- Research, develop and implement new processes, equipment and procedures for manufacturing.
- Develop, justify and implement capital expenditure projects from concept to completion.
- Document and update work instructions, standard operating procedures and time observations of production processes.
- Lead and manage Process Engineers through training, troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Coordinate with Quality on specification deviations / requests.
- Assist as needed to support major equipment breakdowns.
- Member of HARA team.
- Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Must be task oriented and have a strong time management skill to keep projects on schedule
- Must have experience in lean manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, or other lean training
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, facilitator and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products to include Word, Excel, Outlook
