Process Engineering Manager


Job Details

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for manufacturing improvements.
  • Evaluate and revise processes in order to generate cost savings and improve safety, equipment reliability, product quality and throughput efficiency.
  • Evaluate and improve process flow throughout manufacturing.
  • Research, develop and implement new processes, equipment and procedures for manufacturing.
  • Develop, justify and implement capital expenditure projects from concept to completion.
  • Document and update work instructions, standard operating procedures and time observations of production processes.
  • Lead and manage Process Engineers through training, troubleshooting and process improvement.
  • Coordinate with Quality on specification deviations / requests.
  • Assist as needed to support major equipment breakdowns.
  • Member of HARA team.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.


Knowledge/Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Must be task oriented and have a strong time management skill to keep projects on schedule
  • Must have experience in lean manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, or other lean training
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitator and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products to include Word, Excel, Outlook
