DSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Chemical industry. This company contributes to making chemicals to are used in semiconductor manufacturing. They are looking to add a Quality Manager to their team in the Rhode Island area. This role will primarily be responsible for leading and executing the quality manufacturing process of the chemicals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the quality program in order to meet customer needs
- Serves as a resources for identifying issues, problem solving, and continuous improvement
- Monitors vendor quality performance and drives vendor quality improvements
- Participates in both internal and external audits
- Reviews contracts, change requests, and customer purchase orders ensuring all the necessary criteria are met
- Reports any quality issues to the Operations Director and senior management
- Preform root-cause analysis and identify the most effective corrective actions and improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering or related field
- 10 years of Quality Assurance experience
- 5 + years of experience in the chemical industry
- 5 + years of manufacturing experience
- Background in batch processing and SPC
- Six Sigma certification preferred
