Customer Service Specialist


Job Details

The Customer Service Specialist will interact with the company s drivers addressing inquiries/issues. We currently have a Monday through Friday Noon till 9pm shift available. Once training is complete the role can be 100% remote.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with customers via telephone or email to provide support and information on truck deliveries.
  • Fields driver questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative s knowledge, forwards to other appropriate terminal staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve driver problems and concerns.
  • Maintains detailed records of driver interactions, complaints, or comments.
  • Takes detailed notes on driver accident calls and forwards to appropriate parties.
  • Work with other departments and companies to resolve driver issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Communication skills including active listening.
  • Able to resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
  • Computer skills with the ability to learn new software.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
