Presser/Tester
OpSource has partnered with a nonprofit corporation that specializes in the manufacturing of goods for the US military, located in Asheville, NC.
Pay for the position:
Shifts for the position:- 1 st shift - 6am-4:30pm
- Mon-Thurs
Job requirements for the position may include:- The person in this position is responsible for pressing seams following all established work, quality and safety procedures.
- Press the ends of the seam seal tapes to assure a proper seal.
- Notify supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures.
- Assist visually impaired/blind co-workers as apparent or as assigned.
- Participate in training and meetings as requested.
Qualifications for the position:- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work, quality and safety procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
