Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
-Must be able to attend mandatory training
- Team oriented, articulate, professional, dependable, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic required.
Responsibilities:
- Duties may vary and other duties may be assigned.
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service clearly and effectively.
- Write orders on checks or memorize orders.
- Relay orders to kitchen clearly and effectively and serve courses and beverages from kitchen and service bars.
- Garnish, prep, and decorate dishes prior to serving.
- Observe patrons to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meals and beverages have been finished.
- Total bills and accept payments or refer patrons to cashier.
- Check identification of customers as required and ensure customers meet age requirements based on orders.
- Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform services as determined by establishments size and practices.
- Clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
