Disassembly Technician


Job Details

Assist machinists by performing duties such as supplying or holding materials or tools, maintaining machinery and/or cleaning work area and equipment.Disassembling and cleaning of used Die components. Possible advancement opportunity/ apprenticeship available to this position.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Disassembly of used Die Stamping Equipment.
  • Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
  • Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products and packed items either manually or using hoists.
  • Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
  • Mark or tag identification on parts.
  • Load and unload items from machines.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment.
  • Running, maneuvering, navigating or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts or passenger vehicles.

Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • 1-3 years of Mechanical experience working in an industrial environment.

This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment

  • Work schedule generally consists of 40+ hours per week, which may include overtime, on-call status, evenings and/or weekends.
  • Required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

This is a second shift position Monday through Thursday 4:30pm to 5:00am, including a shift differential. Stolle pays overtime time daily, so any hours over eight hours will be calculated daily.
