What you'll be doing... - You are responsible for the daily tasks associated with the safety department.
- You will be responsible for maintaining DOT files, safety logs and training files.
- You will schedule and provide training as needed.
- You will assist with safety training for all new hires.
- Maintain and update all SDS books and chemical lists.
- Issue and record PPE issued to team members.
- Assist in incident investigations, as well as inspections.
- Provide leadership and direction to all team members regarding safety policies and procedures.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
What you'll bring to the team... - You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technically proficient with technology and usage of computers and software.
- Ideally, you will have some college or technical training.
The environment you can expect... - You will be working in a manufacturing plant.
- You'll need to be able to walk, twist, bend and lift various weights.
