**Summary**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Safely and effectively, operate the pick-to-light line for 8 hours or more per day without rotation.

* Responsible for maintaining an acceptable inventory accuracy and volume of production on the pick-to-light line.

* Responsible for filling pick-to-light system orders from inbound freight by scanning inbound freight boxes and placing the designated amounts to each store freight box while confirming by pressing the light bar.

* Control the flow of inbound freight boxes to their designated line while working with one other teammate on the pick-to-light line.

* Perform visual quality assurance and communicate with other teammates, Assistant Managers or Managers in regards to any unacceptable amounts on the distros, damaged merchandise, box quantity shortages or overages, while marking appropriately for follow-up.

* Responsible for packing outbound freight boxes correctly and following all guidelines including placing accurate identification stickers for hazardous/flammable product.

* Provide pick-to-light line support to maintain the balance of freight based on business needs.

* Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a clean work area.

* Safely and efficiently open freight boxes using box cutters.

* Dispose all empty inbound freight boxes onto the trash line.

* In person attendance is required to operate the pick-to-light line.

* Assist with unloading inbound or outbound freight, 998 picking and put away functions, supplies projects and processing duties based on business need.

* Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.

* Special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Education and/or Experience**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours or more; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Teammate is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Teammate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more than 60 pounds. Teammate must be comfortable working at heights on a multilevel mezzanine and have the ability to climb multi-level of stairs on a daily basis. Also regularly required to bend, twist and turn at waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

**Work Environment**

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in a warehouse setting. The Teammate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
