This role reports to:

Director of Warehousing and Logistics

What you will be responsible for:

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, trends, and forecasts to determine reorder points and quantities.
  • Utilize the inventory management systems to track stock levels, deliveries, and shipments.
  • Monitor inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize storage and ensure proper stock rotation.

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Coordinate with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand and plan inventory acquisition accordingly.
  • Address and resolve any supply chain issues, such as delays or quality concerns, to minimize impact on production and sales.
  • Stay informed about market trends, and advancements in the supplement industry that may affect supply chain strategies.

Purchasing:

  • Perform the purchasing strategies laid out to source high-quality materials and products at competitive prices.
  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions.
  • Place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, or a similar role, preferably in the supplement or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and inventory management software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Is between $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
