This role reports to:
Director of Warehousing and Logistics
What you will be responsible for:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, trends, and forecasts to determine reorder points and quantities.
- Utilize the inventory management systems to track stock levels, deliveries, and shipments.
- Monitor inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records to maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize storage and ensure proper stock rotation.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand and plan inventory acquisition accordingly.
- Address and resolve any supply chain issues, such as delays or quality concerns, to minimize impact on production and sales.
- Stay informed about market trends, and advancements in the supplement industry that may affect supply chain strategies.
Purchasing:
- Perform the purchasing strategies laid out to source high-quality materials and products at competitive prices.
- Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions.
- Place purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, or a similar role, preferably in the supplement or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and inventory management software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Is between $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
