We are looking for a part- time Member Service Associate for our Sebastopol Branch. Being a Member Service Associate starts by building relationships that are founded on people, cooperation, service and trust - and it is fundamental in how we distinguish ourselves in the financial services industry. As the face of the organization, you serve a critical role by providing exceptional service to all credit union and community members, volunteers, employees, and service providers.
As a Member Service Associate, at the Sebastopol Branch, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Provide exceptional member service to all Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
- Explain products and services to Members to meet their needs. Cross-sells RCU, RCU Investment Services, RCU Insurance Services and RCU Auto Services products and services.
- Establish basic products and services for Members.
- Provide information to Members' questions or directs them to the appropriate person or department for assistance.
- Safeguard Member information and ensure confidentiality by following established policy and procedures.
- Complete Members' transactions accurately and efficiently using established policies and procedures.
- Balance cash, checks, and maintain proper documentation.
The ideal candidate: Has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
6+ months experience in a retail sales / cash handling environment.
Strong multitasker and collaborator who prefers to work in a team environment.

We want to hear from you and how you would make a great addition to our superb RCU Team!Compensation: base starting range $22.00 to $26.00 per hour commensurate with experience.Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
